We are down to the final four teams in the NBA Playoffs as the Conference finals are about to begin. In the Western Conference finals it will be the Phoenix suns making their first against in the Conference finals since 2010 facing off against the Los Angeles Clippers who are making their first Conference finals appearance in 50 years.
Both of these teams had tough match-ups in their previous series as the Suns made quick work of the Denver Nuggets beating them in 4 straight games.
Where the Clippers defeated one of the best teams in the Western Conference in the Utah Jazz in 6 games. The Jazz should be in the Conference finals in my mind as they dominated the Clippers for most of the series.
But in the end the Clippers reigned supreme.
The question now is can the Clippers be just as effective against the Suns especially without Kawhi Leonard who is currently nursing a knee injury, on the other side though the Suns are without their stop star in Chris Paul who is currently in health and safety protocols.
I am intrigued to see who wins this series.
In the Eastern Conference the Milwaukee Bucks who are coming off a major upset of the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night will take on Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks.
Both teams are coming off seven games series so it will be interesting to see if fatigue plays a factor as they are set to faceoff on Wednesday in Game one of the East Final.
