Gobert helps Jazz get past the Pelicans:
Last night was the restart of the NBA season after a four and a half month hiatus. Rudy Gobert and the Utah Jazz faced off against Zion Williamson, the New Orleans Pelicans. With only 6.9 seconds left in the game, Gobert put the game away by making two free throws, which gave the Jazz the victory 106-104.
After being away for two weeks, Pelicans rookie also had a modest night with 13 points. But was not heard from for the majority of the fourth quarter. Carry the offence for the Pelicans though were players like J.J. Reddick with 21 points and Jrue Holiday chipped with 20 points as well.
On the other, side though, Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley help with the offence for Utah as they each scored 20. Jordon Clarkson, though, scored 23 to help the Jazz come back and get the win.
Lebron hits last second shot:
The second game of the doubleheader of the restart saw another battle of California, as Lebron and Los Angeles Lakers faced off against Kawhi and the Clippers. James scored a basket with 12.8 seconds left in the game, which game the Lakers the victory. His partner in crime Anthony Davis had 34 points knocking big shot throughout the game.
The Clippers front men Kawhi Leonard and Paul George had a big for their team has George scored 30 while Kawhi finished the night with 28 points. George misfired a shot with a 1:50 left in the game. With the Lakers winning though it game them a 6 1/2 game cushion the California rivals.
I want these two teams to meet in the playoffs to see which side is the better of the two, the Lakers or the Clippers.
