The Phoenix Suns are moving on too the Conference finals, yes you heard that right, for the first time since 2010 the Phoenix Suns are going to the Conference finals after sweeping the Denver Nuggets last night.
This was a series I thought would be relatively equal both sides, but the suns proved that they were the better team. I think a lot of the Suns success goes to Chris Paul for his leadership especially in these playoffs.
I mean no one thought the Suns would take out the defending NBA champs in the Los Angeles Lakers in 6 games, and now to eliminate one of the best teams in the Western Conference in the Denver Nuggets in 4 straight all I can say is WOW!
Congrats to the Suns on Advancing to the Conference Finals!
Another game last night that was a nail biter was the Brooklyn Nets vs the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks who were down 2-1 in their best of seven series were looking to come out prove they weren’t going down without and fight, and fight they did.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the bucks in scoring with 34 points, but he wasn’t the only Buck Kris Middleton dropped 19 of his own points to help give the Bucks a 107-96 victory over the Nets to tie the series at two game a piece.
The Bucks defense was another key factor in the victory as they played the Nets a lot more physical than in the previous two games.
The Nets on the other hand lost a key part of their offence in the second quarter of Game 4 as Kyrie Irving went down with what looked to be an ankle injury.
Will Irving play on Tuesday? I doubt it
