Raptors are on the brink of elimination:

The Boston Celtics came into game 5 on Monday night with one intention and that was to play better. Well they did just that, Boston’s big three: Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were ready to play.

For some reason, I cannot say the same for the defending NBA Champs; they looked flat and unprepared. It was almost as if the Raptor forgo they had a game. What’s more confusing to me is the lack of effort from Pascal Siakam, actually maybe saying it’s a lack of effort might be too harsh.

But Siakam needs to show up and play aggressive and hit shots like he can. My issue over the last few games has been the defensive play of Marc Gasol, here is a guy who has been defensive player of the year and yet has not shown that prowness on defensive that he is known for.

Finally, if the Raptors want to push this series to a game 7, I would suggest they find a way to shut down Boston’s big three, in Jayson Tatum, Kemba Walker, and Jaylen Brown. Otherwise, we will see the Celtics move on but more then that we will see a new champion crowned.
