Ballmer Donates money to fight COVID 19:
Yesterday former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and his wife Connie Ballmer gave 25 million dollars to the healthcare system in Seattle, where the couple resides.
But it hasn’t just been financial donations, but a lot of the NBA community has helped give things such as hand sanitizer.
Gloves for the health workers, and masks to prevent the spread of the virus.
As a fan of the game that I have loved for some many years, it makes me proud not just as a fan but as a human being to see people helping people in a time where we need to come together as one and help fight off the spread of the COVID 19 virus.
Now is not the time to worry about when the Basketball and Hockey seasons will resume.
Most people want our lives to return as they were before, meaning watching Basketball, Hockey etc. Still, right now, our main concern as a race should be practicing social distancing and flattening the curve of the virus so that we can get back to some level of ordinary.
Or will we ever get back to normal when it comes to sports?
We will have to wait and see how all of this plays out, to be honest, I don’t understand sports coming anytime soon, but if for some reason it does I don’t see there being any fans in the stands.
The safety of the Players, as well as the fans, should be the number one priority of all sports leagues. But I also understand that there is a financial commitment that each league has to fulfill, as far as TV and Media.
Let’s all do our part and so we can get back to whatever our normal was is, or will be.
