Kyle Lowry playing for team USA.

Monday night it was an end of a era as former Toronto Raptors Point Guard, opted for free agency.

Lowry spent the last nine years as starting point for the team, and won a championship with Toronto.

Orginally drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2006, Lowry spent just three years with team after the 2009 season, Memphis traded Kyle to the Houston Rockets were he was the backup to former Rocket Aaron Brooks.

After playing three season in Houston, the Rockets traded Lowry in the sumer of 2012 to the Toronto Raptors.

As the starting Point Guard for the Raptors Lowry put up 17 points per game.

But now that he has moved on to Miami, what will his role be?

Will he be in a starting role? Or will be a backup for the like of Tyler Herro and Gabe Vincent?

We will find out in October when the season start. Best of luck to Kyle in Miami and thank for the memories.
