Epic Comeback by the Raptors:

Sunday night’s game between the Raptors and Mavericks was one for the ages, it was a game where both teams had significant injuries the Mavericks were missing their superstar Luka Donic, whereas the Raptors were missing three of their own keys players in Pascal Siakam, Norman Powell and Marc Gasol. The game for two-quarters 2nd and 3rd were purely dominated by the Dallas Mavericks outscoring the Raptors 34-22 in the second and 35-21 in the third quarter and being down 83-53 with 2:55 left in the game, I honestly thought this game is over and done, but I was wrong Toronto’s swarming defence and Kyle Lowry shooting the lights out of the game in the fourth quarter with 5:50 left tying the game at 95. Ronde Hollis-Jefferson hit 2 very important free throws at the 4:31 mark of the game to put the Raptors up by one 98-97, Brunson hit a three-point shot with a 1:31 left in the game while Kristaps Porzingas hit two free throws to put the Mavericks up 107-106, Chris Boucher one of the Raptors young Big men made thunderous dunk, while Jalen Brunson missed a key shot that would have put the Mavericks up by one, but in the end, the Raptors held on to win the game with what I would call one of the most epic comebacks since December of 2010 when the Raptors were 25 at the hands of the Detroit Pistons. But speaking as a fan of the Raptors I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that this team being the Raptors were down and out by thirty points and found a way to come back and beat the Mavericks by three 110-107. The funny thing about the game is even the players from both teams weren’t able to explain what happened, well, at any rate, it was a well deserved hard-fought win next up for the team is a date with the Indiana Pacers who are currently without Victor Olidipo, do the Raptors have another comeback in them we will have to wait and see.
