DeAndre Jordan signs a free agent with the Los Angeles Lakers:

Former Nets centre DeAndre Jordan has signed with the Los Angeles Lakers as a free agent.

DeAndre Jordan no relation to the Hall of Famer, Michael Jordan is headed to his fourth team in his 13 year career.

Orignally drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers in 2008, DeAndre never became the player everyone that he would become.

What I mean by that he was never an impact player or a game changer.

While known for his shot blocking abilities, DeAndre was never someone who could take over a game and give his team the victory.

I thought that would change now that he was playing with his buddy Kevin Durant, who esententially took less money for Jordan to come to Brooklyn.

Jordan signed with the Nets in 2019 and played in only 57 game not including the playoffs.

I will be interested to see how the dynamic is Los Angeles plays out, especially after the Lakers signed both Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony.

Now grant that is a lot of experience on one teams but will it lead the Lakers to another chip? Only time will tell.

But for now let’s see if Jordan can revive his career in Los Angeles and be the missing piece that will lead the franchised lakers to their 19th championship.
