Baylor’s defence proves to be too much for Gonzaga:

The Baylor Bears defence proved to be too much for the Gonzaga Bulldogs, in the NCAA championship game.

Baylor led pretty much the entire game, but was it is more is that the Bears stifled the Bulldogs offence completely.

Gonzaga just could not get anything going, there was a point in the game where the Bulldogs had brought the score down to nine points, but Baylor just kept coming at Gonzaga like a freight train.

The Bulldogs Guard Jalen Suggs who had been Gonzaga’s main offensive weapon throughout the tournament, finished the game with 22 points.

Another aspect of the game that Baylor dominated in was rebounding, Baylor out rebounded the Bulldogs 38-22.

Simply put Baylor was the better team and deserved to win the NCAA Championship.

On the other hand Gonzaga also had a successful tournament from start to finish, but they came up a little short.

Hats off to the Bears and congrats on winning the Championship.
