Eastern Conference Rematch:

Last night the Toronto Raptors were home to face the Philadelphia 76ers for the first time since the 2018 playoffs were Kawhi Leonard hit the buzzer-beater, to send the Raptors to the Eastern Conference championship against Milwaukee. The 76ers were outscored in the first half of the game by 2, it was in the second half were Philadelphia turned in on and tried pulling ahead of the Raptors but came up short. The headscratcher in this game though was the lack of offensive production from 76ers big man Joel Embiid who finished the night 0-11 scoring but did manage to have 13 rebounds and 2 assists in 32 minutes of play, Raptors big Man Marc Gasol was slightly  better he managed 3 points 6 rebounds 9 assists and 2 blocks, which begs the question is Marc Gasol in Embiid’s head? I would say yes because there is no way a talented centerman like Joel Embiid should go 0-11 against a conference rival. Meanwhile, Toronto’s Offensive was firing on all cylinders leading the way with his offensive game is Pascal Siakam who last night scored 25 points in 40 mins but it hasn’t just been Pascal other players on this team have stepped up in the absence of Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka who are still recovering from injuries. Toronto’s biggest surprise has been a young prospect in Terrance Davis is has been averaging 6.3 points per game, not great numbers but this kid is still growing into the pro game, don’t be surprised if Davis’s numbers improve as his game improves I mean the kid is only 22 and still has plenty of time to mature as an NBA pro and I believe he will.
